My Scary Valentine
I'm reposting this one for those who didn't already see it over at my flickr. It's one of the originals that I used for the Button Your Eyes post.
The photo is from that day I was obsessing over the Cure. As I was taking pics I was thinking that one of the benefits of getting older is that it is so much easier to look scary.

I think you look really cute. (You just need some pointy shoes and and a jacket with super massive shoulder pads (and some pants, I guess!) and you could lurch and wail like Robert!)
awesome! i heart scary u
I think you look like Johnny Depp as edward sissorhands but my daughter Livy thinks you look like (your hair actually) Robert Pattison from Twilight!
Just love this photo. Happy scary Valentine's. You and Beatrice must be on the same wavelength, she opted for skulls with heart eyes for Valentine's favors. Putting the creepy in cute.
My hero. Seriously.
How cute are you. Scary cute!
Oh my this IS Robert Smith influenced. I love it though! It gives me hope for my birds-nest-of-a-head-of-hair today.
This is fantastic! Now if I could only get my hair to do that.
Simply fabulous. Do Morrissey next.
Another benefit of getting older is that it's so much easier to have FUN! To admit to liking bad music (The Cure not included here), even singing them aloud and ebarrass your kids, to mimic, to dramatize, to be politically incorrect, to laugh at oneself and not take yourself so damn seriously.
Annie thought you were Coraline.
Kiss me.Kiss me.Kiss me.(!)
Was the heart formed by two pieces of your hair planned or a happy accident? I love this photo just as much as I love The Cure!
Great photo! What fun. And the comment about getting older is too funny, I agree that one also gets a greater sense of humor! Love it!
What a fun photo! LOVE your blog!
Found it through a google search for vintage buttons. Have bookmarked it.
John is wondering if the heart was accidental or an incredible coincidence.
Oh yeah, I want to come over and have a play date. I love the idea of cameras and closets!
LOL at the comment that the older one gets, the easier it is to look scary... I TOTALLY relate and love that I can now add that to one of the perks of getting older! Thanks for the humor!
Love it...you rock!
