Beautifully composed Michelle...I remember those days.
That last photo looks like a serene mama.
beautiful....
Life is such an adventure. Beautiful photos!
Oh so sweet. But it sounds like you have had my kind of days lately. Congrats on the blogiversary!! you rock!
Monkeys! Monkeys! That is all.
You're just beautiful, M. And so are those little guys.
Eventually you get yourself back.
Someone, a mother, once said to me while I contemplated what my life has become, "They're not babies forever." And that meant so much! Not sure if it makes sense to you, but there you go.
I keep rereading this post, and it is just so great. Thank you.
Oh man, I love this. You're so right. Thank you!
Mandy is right - there's another life after raising children. Lots of adventures, things I only dreamed about when the kids were small. I lived on the adventures of others until I could have some of my own. The last photo taken by your child is the best.
So true... I'm right there with you.
My little man is very demanding.
However, he is so worth it.
I've been thinking the same about
my age...where did all of the time go. Now it is all becoming a blur
and I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Everyone says to enjoy it. OK, that's what I am trying to do. Time flies when you are having fun...I guess?
Life is good. It's the random sleep that still gets to me sometimes. Keep up the great blog.
LOVE it!
you give yourself to them. then, they give you back to yourself.
Composition, depth. Wow Michelle, you just blow my silly posts out of the water. It's just perfect, I can just see a photo shoot going awry or at least not the way intended. The way children do infuriate, interrupt, demand, sap and suck. All the while filling with purpose, light, love, and joy. Unbalancing at best.
What lovely photos. Thanks for sharing.
stunningly gorgeous and peaceful mama.
if only these were the ONLY things they will remember....
super super sweet posting...
that brought a tear to my eys. what a beautiful post... I know exactly what you are saying...
wonderful. thank you for sharing.
Oh, what beautiful heart and soul photographs! Thanks for the post.
You are way too cute with your funky hat photos! Sweet!
Lovely shot of you so lovingly gazing at your photographer.
I think you have a timeless beauty that comes through in all the photos...motherhood becomes you.
Awww, love baby's photo.
Someone got a haircut, so handsome!
love this- a reality check when I start getting moonie about when the kids were babies.
nicer without the hat. maybe hats change our personality more than we know? maybe looking into your kids eyes rather than your own softens us up a bit too? bless them.
Beautiful, I just love your bravery and honesty
The small ones always have that unique angle of view on the world. Love the series together.
OH! I love that! You are so sweet- really! The kids are wonderful! I love seeing you through their eyes! sweet hat, too! I am learning to knit! so far its just a mess! hahah!
You are one lovely mama! I am beginning on that journey myself and it's incredibly hard work and amazingly wonderful all at the same time. Your words and pictures are lovely and thought provoking.
