Good Day Sunshine
We interrupt this bad mood with a ray of sunshine.
I got my Ravelry invite yesterday and am adding projects as fast as I can. I always thought the invite part of Ravelry sounded quite snobbish, but, it's just a way to slow things down while they get the Beta version worked out.
A few things I noticed about my projects:
1) I don't invest brain cell on remembering what yarn I used. I think Ravelry will help me with this.
2) I crochet a *lot* more than I knit. I'd like to knit more, so that I can make up my own designs.
3) I like colorful projects. Who would have thunk?
4) I like to make up my own designs. I didn't realize how many times I've done this.
5) I don't write those designs down. Sad.
So, if you are already at Ravelry, make me a friend and I'll make you a friend. And, if you are not there, go sign up for an invite. They're real nice.

You too! I will eventually join because I don't think I will ever stop clicking on people's ravelry links, only to be confronted by the "front page." Such a tease!
OMG!!! He's so cute! I can't stand it. I think my brain just melted and is coming out of my ears. He's *that* cute. Cute!
A knitted super cape? I love to colors and the sweet face!
Is it a cape, or a bib? It's waaaaay too adorable to get food on it! I can't tell you how much I love those happy colors. I think winter's getting to us all.
Your son is quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. I want to eat him up! :)
I found you via the Sew Mama Sew blog, and I love your projects. From you I found your sister's 'worn' series...my god, she is my new style icon. You are two cool chicks.
You will find my melted brain pooled with futuregirl's on the floor. Mmmm. Pooled brains.
Voodoo economics. I just read your ravelry profile. lol
You must get stopped in public all the time so people can discuss that bundle of cuteness.
What's Ravelry?
signed, a not so crafty yet friend.

It's a bib, but a knit supercape is a great idea, Mimi.
Maybe the cute factor = melted brain is what's wrong with me. ;)
Thanks,
M
I added you as a friend! What I love about ravelry besides the whole organization thing is that you can see what others have done with patterns you want to make:: really a priceless feature! And your son is tooooooooo cute my dear!
Too cute!!!
I love the bib! I needed some inspiration to use up some of my Peaches N Cream yarn, bought in a frenzy immediately after I bought MasonDixon's book. Now I'm so tired of seeing it in the basket. I want to knit it on size 10 needles or something to make it go away fast! Found your blog through swallowfield. Will definitely be back!
your knitted bib is scrumptious!
Michelle, when you get a moment can you email me with your email addy? I came across of pic of D with J today(taken over 17 years ago) & thought it would be fun to scan and email it to him(you).

Oooh yea! I just got my invite a few days ago but haven't done anything with it so you inspired me to go register and I made you a friend! I have to add too that your children.... my god they're cute! Every time I see a picture of them they seem as if they are bursting with sunshine :)
Will see you soon on Ravelry!
So cute! That first picture has so much adorable personality packed into it!
Oh I love your bib...or cape (or whatever your heart desires for the moment...I am sure superman could have used a bib sometimes!)
We are adopting a baby from Ethiopia, I'd love to make some of these...do you have a pattern you could share?

That baby is so adorable! I knit a cotton sweater for my guy who just turned a year old. it isn't seamed yet, because it doesn't fit yet. i started the sweater before he began eating solid foods, and the yoke is a double-seed-stitch texture. all i can think now is Food Catching Super Built in Goop Magnet. I bet this ridged bib does its job!
