Kitchen as Craft Room
You don't have to
have a craft room
to make stuff.
The kitchen
has always been
a hub
of creativity.
Just make sure
you keep the iron's cord
out of the frying pan,
or the butter
for that matter.

Mmmm. Buttered iron cord. My favorite!
I agree, you don't need a 2300 SF house to make crafts. Some of us even have that size house and DON'T make crafts. Keep up the great, creative work, Ms. M!

I say ironed grilled cheeses are great! Multitasking!
Butter on the iron cord, hmm sounds familiar!
Totally. Sometimes it is portrayed that you need your own studio in order to be crafty... we live in a small space by choice. Our kitchen also serves as my garden, office and craft studio!
Classic!
I do believe that your iron is checking itself out in your nice shiny iron! The kitchen was the center of our home. We just moved into a place with an extra bedroom so it's mine for the time being. My husband can now step with ease throughout the dining room with no fear of loose pins and thread.
This looks just like my kitchen! Craft room is a fantasy...
It's a dangerous combo...I always end up w/ bread crumbs here and there on quilting projects. Bad idea...but w/ a small house not sure what options we have...
You're so right...we have open plan so my 'craft room' is huge...it spans over the kitchen & lounge so the iron can watch telly too..
Good to know.
BTW - loved the gnome posse. Ha - so funny!!
At my house it is the dining room table which is also the only table. All it takes is a quick clearing up by dumping everything into the unused chairs at the end - no more kids or I will have no empty chairs!
