Stripy Afghan Work in Progress
Seems I'm late for everything. It's rare that I can get a Work in Progress post on the right day. I also have blogger's guilt for not being able to attend to comments in a manner I would like. I wish I could keep up correspondences with everyone. I LOVE this crafty blog community — I hope I'm not offending anyone by forgetting to respond to a question in the comments section, or by not responding to each comment with an email. I do what I can do. I hope that's enough.

You do a great job. You are more responsive than many people who have fewer reasons (i.e. fewer small children) to be slow in responding. But, you shouldn't believe me maybe, because I just like you no matter what.
People generally understand that bloggers have lives outside of the internet -- especially when you're posting about it! :)
There are some who get miffy, but they're usually high-maintenance who could use some more crafting time. :)
Ah yes, your responses already have been enough for a lifetime. See Old Round change her life with Bloglines. More organized exactly. Thank you, thank you. Banish guilt.
it's way too hard to keep up with it all!! just knowing you are out there is enough...i'm guilty of not always commenting when i want to... our attention just gets divided in too many directions.
the afghan is coming along nicely :)
I love that, it's turning out so nice! Love the colors, very vibrant.
I'm loving that blanket! *And* that stripy fabric.
Please don't ever feel guilty. For you to make any time at all for us, when you have those you love to care for, is a very special present that I (and Blaize and probably everyone else) value very highly.
It's so obvious, from every post and every comment of yours that I see, that you truly care about us and this community and that you really enjoy being out here with us. :)
What a great afghan (or blanket). Nice to see all those colors together. Don't worry about replying, I guess I should say thanks for posting. Really enjoy the pictures and the writing.
That's looking very impressive!
Those wonderful stripes - I'm at a loss for words!
see you, g
Wow! that afghan is looking amazing! - 'Love the colors, stripes and the way you're being inspired by the piece of fabric... I really like the crochet pattern you're using where you change colors with every row...kind of a simple idea but so striking when you come up with a great color combination as you did...Oh, and as a new arrival in the blogging community, I've found your comments on my posts so encouraging - they've helped me through those moments of doubt where I question myself as to why I'm blogging...Thanks a heap...
oh dear. are we supposed to be responding? I respond. No one answers. I feel stupid for resonding, so I quit.
You dont' have to answer.
I love that afghan!
I really like the colorful afghan!
In terms of your blog concerns (I am a non-expert as I do not have a blog so take my advice with a tub of salt): it's YOUR blog. I fully believe all bloggers should do just what they want to do on their very own blogs--it's why I read them. I choose to read specific blogs because they are intelligent, fun, creative, warm and welcoming, and as individualistic as their owners. The rules are only what YOU make them for your specific blog.
Hello Miss Green Kitchen! I really like the bold, happy colours of this stripey masterpiece. :)
I am loving that afghan.
I am so glad that you have posted another photo of your stripy afghan. It is looking great! I have started one myself and have come by to check out yours on occasion. Love the way yours is coming along...wish I could say the same for mine! Do you have any tips for weaving in the ends?
I am in love with this blanket. bigtime.
